Welcome to my blog! My name is Jill and I am a Western Kansas farm wife and mother of two now four children, both of our children married in 2015. We grow wheat, corn, milo, soybeans, and feed. We also have 200 cows and 10 bulls. On top of being a farm wife I also work a full time job at a feed yard. I love being a mom, mother in law, cooking, baking, canning, photography, sewing and crafting. Even though our lives are extremely busy I would not trade a moment for anything else.
Roxie says the kids think that they are in charge, but what they don't know is " I'm in charge of this Pumpkin Patch!" " Family joke!"

Gram,
We'll let you stay in charge of the family pumpkin patch--You do a great job of carving a smile on our faces & reminding us to keep the light of love shining from within!!
We are sending lots of love and prayers your way. God does answer prayer! We miss you already. Hurry and get well, Robert, so you can come back to our country. Love you both
Hello everyone. Greetings from Augusta! We are all praying for a successful surgery and quick recovery. I have put Robert on the prayer chain at St. James Catholic Church in Augusta. The power of prayer is awesome! Also, I have called father Sam Pinkerton and left a message so you should be hearing from him soon. Tenley has us say a prayer for Papa every night at supper. We love you all and our prayers are with you constantly. Love, Melissa, Tenley, Talen Berning Ron and Pam Turner (Melissa's parents)
Hey Rod I think that it is right now and you should be able to see it now! It took a lot longer to get it back on then to take it off!! Love ya lots! XXOOXX Jill
Roxie What is one month from Today? I know! I am counting the days because you will be older than me! AT 60 you have every right to THINK you are in charge! Thoughts and PRayers Love Sheila
Blessings to the Pumpkin Patch! Relda here again, Roberto. When Renelle passes out, I love to call her a lightweight! She loves to give me a rude gesture! All in fun and you keep laughing. It is the best medicine! Next message will have one of ML's infamous jokes. You have kept me laughing for most of my life..your spirit is so fun but also so strong. Jokes to follow in a day or so. GOD Bless and will blog soon. Hey, I have been so fortunate to have a brother-in-law like you. Much love, Relda
We are so glad to hear the good news. I am sure you know by now that many thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. See you soon back in this part of the country. Brian, Amanda & Zane
Way to go Robert! Great to see you looking so good. Our love, thoughts and prayers continue to be with the whole "Berning Bunch"... those in Rochester and those left at home. Thanks so much, Jill, for doing the updates on Robert for all of us. Good job! Hug around the neck to each one of you, Robert, Roxie, Rod, Robbie, Renissa and Ryan. Love, Elmer & Helen
