We just took a long walk down at the courtyard and then over to the park accross the street. The wind is blowing, not quite like Kansas, but the temps are nice. They are going to give him lacics,(sp)? to get rid of some of the water weight. They are doing stool cultures to see if the antibiactics have killed the good bacterias. He is kinda crabby so maybe that means he is starting to feel a little better or just tired of the whole game........ His white blood count is 18 today so down some from yesterday.

- Welcome to my blog! My name is Jill and I am a Western Kansas farm wife and mother of two now four children, both of our children married in 2015. We grow wheat, corn, milo, soybeans, and feed. We also have 200 cows and 10 bulls. On top of being a farm wife I also work a full time job at a feed yard. I love being a mom, mother in law, cooking, baking, canning, photography, sewing and crafting. Even though our lives are extremely busy I would not trade a moment for anything else.

I just wanted to take a minute this morning to thank you for the little boy that you raised that became the man I married and love today. He is such a mix of both of you. He is one of the most giving people I have ever met and has the softest and most tender heart!! He also has a great sense of humor and can talk to ANYONE!! His work ethic is unmatched!! He works so hard to make us all happy and comfortable and we all know that it truely brings him happiness to see us happy! He may have a bit of a hot temper --you can choose who he got that from (Hee Hee), but he is just as quick to forgive. I can not immagine spending my life with anyone else and am so thankful that both of you have been a part of it too! It was through his time in the hospital that I first experienced your love and acceptance and ability to endure difficult circumstances--and now the circumstances are a bit different, but I know you will get through this with the same grace and love!!

Rox and Robert we are still praying to hear you both will be going home soon. Until then we will keep praying for Roberts health to get better. We love you and your in our thoughts everyday. Marilyn is in Scott City yet and will be going home tomorrow which is Thursday. That was her plan last time I talked to her. Take care and make sure you keep getting your rest. Love Hermaine

Can't beleive it was 21 years ago Rob had his broken neck and 20 years ago you two "Young Kids" tied the knot! Congratulations on riding the ups and downs of marriage and making it work in this day and age of the throw away society..... We are proud of you!

Your message brought tears to my eyes and yes we will endure another difficut time in our life but we have faith and trust in God that he has a plan for us if we can just be patience to see it.
I'm headed to the hospital to see if I have any good news to smile about. Will let you know.

Busy all day yesterday, did not get to read blogs. Glad you got the mail, we'll do it again if you need it. Just tell me when. It's great when I check the blog and things seem better, I know this is going to work out, all good things take time. Roxie, how can you be 60if Robert is only 29? I don't understand. Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Consider the mail your BD present. haha Bills are always great to get. Hard to believe it's been 21 years when Jana and I got to take the kids to Wichita. Everybody fit in the car back then, couldn't do it now, probably need a bus. R&B, CONGRATS TO YOU TWO ALSO!!

Things are looking up! Robert acts and sounds better today. White blood count is at 15 so is coming down. The stool test came back OK so we don't have to deal with that! Dr's said if he continues to improve, maybe we will be dismissed tomorrow......
Kinda scary to leave but anxious to be out of the hospital. Will stick around Rochester for awhile before heading to Augusta to pick up our car. We will rent a one-way rental to get us there.
Had a nice surprise this morning arrive at Robert's room. A beautiful Orchid plant with a note from our friend Charlie Munger.
This is what the note said: "Best wishes, As an Omaha boy I always like the following saying, which I believe appley in some way to me:
"They got the boy out of the farm, but they never got the farm out of the boy." Charlie Munger. What a great guy. They were getting to go home today after 6 weeks with his wife in the hospital. She and their daughter were coming out of the beauty shop yesterday morning as I was going in. Very down to earth people.
Hoping to tell you tomorrow that we are at the hotel.
Robert is calling me on his cell phone wanting to go outside so you can tell he is feeling better. Yea!
