A diabetic doctor came in yesterday and worked with Robert on his sugar level. They hit it with more insulin then they had been and got it down faster. His sugar was 258 this morning. They are trying to keep it at 150 or lower. They are limiting his carbs, he can have 14 carbs (1800 calories). The doctor came in this morning and they still don't know when they will put the stint in. It will be sometime tomorrow. Hopefully they will be released Tuesday morning. They have to monitor him for 24hrs after putting the stint in. The plans are for Rod, Robbie, Robert and Roxie to drive to Kearney, NE Tuesday then get up Wednesday morning and drive the rest of the way in. Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers. Keep the comments coming!
Love ~ Jill

Good morning, thought I should let you know that ML and I will out of state when the surgery takes place. We will be at Point Pleasant Beach, NJ for Virgil and Mary's wedding. ML is best man. We leave 9-5 and will return 9-9. I don't know if I will have internet access or not so I will either call Hermaine or Renelle. We are thinking of all of you and praying everyday. Love & Prayers,
Relda & ML.

Robert, come see me when you get home. Or, if you're unable I'll come see you.

I'm leaving a week from today for two weeks- I have to go to Texas for a week to train some guys, then a week of training for me- so I'll be away for awhile.

So we'll both be gone at the same time and we need to figure out a stratagy to make sure the project continues in our absence. I guess we'll have to leave it to Tom...

Dear Friends and Relatives,
I'm being well taken care of by the three boys and Renissa.
Thanks for all your thoughts and praygers. They are really lifting me up. Somedays I feel like I'm just floating and someone else is in control and we all know who that is.......
We sent Renissa on to New York to meet Darren and Nolan for their trip they have had planned since Jan. to see the Yankees stadium. She called @ 2 and she made it.
Hope to see all of you soon. Thanks again for everything everyone has been doing. What would we do without family, friends and a higher power.
Love to all and prayers for all of you. Roxie and Robert

Uncle Robert. . .although, my surgery is a bit less serious, I can wholly empathize with the anxiety and the gross smells of the hospital. However, having strong friends, family and faith makes everything better. Use this time to slow down, reflect, read and be spoiled! Many hugs -

Renelle

Robert, Roxie and all the R's and spouses: I've been sitting back and trying to absorb all the good news and wishes that I see. Of course, it's all well deserved, special people deserve special thoughts. We'll see you all when you are home! Jill, thanks for keeping me ( I guess everybody) updated, of course I know you only started the blog because I would have bugged you to death otherwise. The prayers will continue, but I have faith this is going to work out great. My love to all, see you soon!! ED

We are getting ready to go back to the hotel. We have put Robert to bed. Enjoy all the comments and appreciate everyones thoughts and prayers.
The boys came back to Dad's room laughing and of course we knew it was the blog from the Baby McIntyre brother. We all needed a good stress releiver. "Laughter is the BEST medicine."
Jolene Thurston, I have a tough time too getting this new technology down. Thanks for letting us know everyone is watching the progress.
Excuse me as my mind is on "cruise control."
The boys will take me and put me to bed now, so night, night.
Love to All.
Roxie

Robert, Roxie, and all the other R's....
I know you probably don't recognize my name, but I'm Don & Kay McIntyre's baby. I told my folks what was going on as soon as I got Pam's email/link to this site. They asked that I please include their thoughts and prayers and hopes for a speedy recovery. My sister Leasa also asked that I send thoughts your way from her. We all are hoping you will be back home soon, in the comfort of your own home, surrounded by all your family, back doing the things you love.
MUCH LOVE from the McIntyre gang>>>>Don & Kay McIntyre

Monday morning and thinking of you Robert. I feel like calling but know better as that is why you have this blog so you can rest. Tell Rox and the boys I am thinking of them also. Glad Rinissa got to go to New York. You all know without a Bruce in our family our life would be very dull. Don't listen to him Robert as I love you and he is trying to get you to do it the cheap way and I want the very best for you. Our prayers are with you this morning and each day. Hope to talk to you soon. Love Hermaine
