Good Morning! Robert and Roxie will be leaving for Rochester tomorrow. Robert's appointments are Monday & Tuesday. Hopefully they will be getting a schedule for Robert's Chemo. Robert's pancreas seems to be working now because he is not taking insulin and his levels seem to be staying down. They are between 100-120 which is perfect. Please keep them in your prayers and thoughts as they travel back to Rochester. Thanks again for all the support.

Rox and Robert hope you enjoyed your short stay at home. I wanted to call but thought I would let you rest and do what you had to do when you got home. I hope we can talk soon. Anyway we are still praying and it sounds like all the prayers are working for Robert's insulin. That was good news when I read it this morning. Hope you have a safe trip back to Mayo and hope they keep telling Robert he is going to get better. I think getting home made a big improvement in the way you both felt. There is no better place than home. We love you and I pray for a safe trip to Mayo and a speedy return for you both to get back home. Love You and wish I could do more to help. Love Hermaine

Hi Aunt Roxie & Uncle Robert. We'll be thinking of you on your journey back. Doug & Susie have an appt on Monday at the Mayo Clinic also. You may run into them. Roxie, it sounds like you're taking good care of Robert. Keep up the good work you two.

Robert & Roxie your sweet corn neighbors hope ands pray that your Mayo trip gets you all set up to get back to normal soon. We certanly have you in our thoughts and give you our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

We made it to Des Moines, Iowa last night about 6:30 p.m.
Long drive but today should be shorter. We should get to Rochester early and will go to the Hotel and relax before the two stressful days of appointments and then the long road home again.
I did work Friday at the office and it felt good to be back for a few hours of what use to be normal.
Hopefully I can get back on track after we get home and see what the chemo schedule will be. R.T. has been very good to me but my sick leave and vacation time is running out. Corporate is who we both have to report to.
R.T.'s Dad died last Sunday so I went to that funeral on Wed in Cimarron. No stress in his life either with that and then the stock market ups and downs and me being out of the office!!!! The gal from Colby came down last Thursday and covered the office with our on-call so that was a lifesaver with both he and I being gone. They buried his Dad in Texas so he had to do that Thurs and we had Dr appt in Leoti.
Will keep everyone posted when we know more about what our schedules will be.

Boy! Rox sounds like you keep having more and more stress. Thank the good Lord you are strong. don't kow how you do it but am so gald that you have been able to stay strong. Yes I think the prayers from everyone has helped you and Robert and your family to keep going. I know that it is not easy and my heart goes out to you. I just want you to know that all my love goes out to you and Robert and I am praying for a good report from Robert's Doctors. Please remember we love you and Robert and tell Robert Bill said to tell him hi. I wish there was something I could do to help you more. I know it don't seem like it now but remember what Mom always told us it is always Darkess before the Dawn.I have a great feeling that things will turn out o.k. for both of you.
